Three people were killed and 30 others injured when a bus plunged into a roadside ditch at Pona in Kashiani upazila early Saturday. The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately. Locals said the accident took place in the area around 3:30 am when a Narail-bound ‘Diganta Paribahan’ bus from Dhaka skidded off into a roadside ditch, leaving three people killed on the spot and 30 others injured. The injured were rushed to Kashiani Upazila Health Complex.
