Feni Correspondent :Three people including a child were killed in clashes over land feud in Feni,On Thursday night, the people of local Chowdhury Bari including Shahid, Swapon, Mithu Chowdhury and Saheb Chowdhury swooped on Alauddin`s house at Mohipal in the town, leaving two shot dead on the spot and three others injured.Two of the three deceased were died on the spot and identified as Main Uddin, 45, Aklima Akhter.The injured were Maruf, 6, Saiful Islam, 35, and Alauddin, 30. Of them, Maruf died on Saturday morning in Chittagong Medical College Hospital Saturday morning.According to the locals, there had been a long time quarrel between Chowdhury Bari of Mohipal Area under Feni Sadar and their neighbour Main Uddin centering 62 decimals of land. M Mominul Haque Nayan, son of the deceased Main Uddin, filed a case with Feni Model Police Station against 36 people including 21 known and the others are unknown. Police arrested seven people in the incident till the report was published.Shahin Uzzaman, Investigation Officer (IO) of the case, confirmed about the death of Maruf.
