Three people were killed and others 16 were seriously wounded as a bus – truck head on collation at Dhankundi Food Village area under Serpur upazila of the district on Friday around 11 am.
Police said Gaibandha bound Bornali Special, Dhaka Metro-Bah-114892 bus hit a Dhaka bound maize laden truck leaving one death and others 16 wounds on the spot. Nine among the wounded were taken to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical Hospital,Bogra for better treatment but two received death at the Hospital. Among the three, one killed was identified as Abdul Jalil (65), resident of Sundargonj Upazila in Gaibandha. Others killed and wounded were un- identified yet.
