3 killed in accidents

At least three more persons including a college student were killed and three others critically injured in two separate incidents in the country on Saturday.
In Tangail, two persons were killed and three others injured when a train of Rangpur Express hit a CNG-driven auto-rickshaw in Rasulpur of Tangail Saturday.
The accident took place on a level crossing in Shalina area around 2:15pm.
The deceased are Rekha Talukder, 40, a passenger of the auto-rickshaw and Kausar Mia, the driver.
Gharinda Railway Station Master Md Jalal Uddin confirmed the matter to media.
The injured were taken to Tangail General Hospital and later moved to Dhaka, he said.
In Kustia, a college girl named Akashi Khatun,22, was killed in a train incident in Poradoho station of the district on Saturday noon.
The deceased Akashi Khatun was a daughter of one Amirul Islam from Kalinathpur , and student of Honors second year.
Taposh Kumar Sarker, Medical Officer of Kustia General Hospital told the matter to media.

The injured were taken to Tangail General Hospital and later moved to Dhaka, he said.
