Detectives arrested three suspected members of banned militant outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from Hatikumrul area in Raiganj upazila early Tuesday.
The three siblings are identified as Sanaullah, 48, Liakotullah, 38, and Barkotullah, 30, sons of Abu Bakar Siddik, a resident of Jamua village in Sadar upazila.
Wahiduzzaman, officer-in-charge of the Detective Branch (DB) of Sirajganj police, said tipped off, a team led by him conducted a drive in the area and arrested the three siblings around 4.30am.
Earlier, police published a list of some suspected JMB members, including the three siblings.
