Police in separate drives from Monday night to early Tuesday arrested 43 people, including three Jamaat activists, from eight upazilas of the district on sabotage charges.
Kamal Hossain, sub-inspector of Satkhira district police, said the law enforcers conducted separate drives in eight upazilas and arrested 43 people, including three activists of Jamaat. The arrestees were wanted in several cases filed with different police stations, the SI added.
