Three activists of Jamaat -Shibir were rounded up by police on Saturday and Sunday in separate raids . Bakalia thana police rounded up one Irfan Mahmud(22) from Syed Shah Road under Bakalia on Sunday early morning .
Detained Irfan is the President of Bakalia thana School ward President of Chatra Shibir and student of 4th year student of Premier University .
Bakalia thana officer incharge Md. Mohsin confirmed the arrest of Irfan.
Besides, Pahartali thana police rounded up two activitist of jamaat from Sagarika industrial area in city on midnight of Saturday.
The detained Jamaat activists are Md. Waliullah and Abu Bakar alias Ibrahim. Sub Inspector of Pahartali thana Md. Mohiuddin said the detained are the mastermind of anarchy and violence and they were planning for an attempt of violence during the yesterday’s hartal period .
