A Chattogram court recentlysentenced three persons to 15 years rigorous imprisonment each for trading contraband drugs. Chattogram Metropolitan Sessions Judge Sheikh Asfakur Rahman awarded Ali Ahmed, 56 and Hamidullah, 34, both hailed from Patiya upazila of the district and Mohammad Mohiuddin, 39, hailed from Kawkhali upazila of Rangamati district to 15 years imprisonment each for trading Yaba tablets. The court also fined them Taka 10,000 each, in default, they will have to serve six-month more in the jail.
