Khulshi thana of Chittagong Metropolitan Police detained three members of banned outfit Hizb ut-Tahrir from Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Science University campus (CVASU) while pasting poster at 11 am on Friday . The detainees were identified as Istiakh Hossain, 25, a student of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology, Abdul Awal, 22 and Ahmed Ali Riad, 25 students of Ispahani College and Government Commerce College respectively.
