Three people including a woman sustained burn injuries in a fire caused by gas oven explosion at a house at Agamachhi Lane in Bongshal area of the city on Sunday.
Assistant sub-inspector of Dhaka Medical College Hospital police camp, said the incident took place around 2:30 pm when a fire broke out at the kitchen
room of the house during the repairing work of a gas stove while lighting the stove, leaving three people including a housewife injured with burns.
The three victims—Delwar, 30, a gas stove servicing worker, his associate Abul Malek, 30 and Parveen, 45, a housewife-were rushed to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
