Police arrested three young men along with 700 pieces of Yaba tablet and 50 kilograms of hemp in Nachole upazila on Monday morning.
The arrestees were identified as Sujan, 22, son of Tofijul Islam of Chhoto Chak village in Shibganj upazila, Al-Amin, 25, son of Mohabul Haque of Pithalitola village in Shibganj municipality area, and SM Arif Billah, 32, son of late Sayed Rahman, a resident of Gachitara village in Mirsarai upazila of Chittagong district.
Acting on secrete information, a team of police conducted a drive at Fatepur Bazar in Nachole upazila and arrested Sujan and Al-Amin along with 700 pieces of Yaba tablet around 11am, said Officer-in-charge of Nachole Police Station Fasir Uddin.
