RAB-7 forces in the port city recovered huge numbers of VOIP equipments from Nasirabad Housing Society area under Panchalaish thana in city and arrested three persons allegedly involved with the VOIP business.
These VOIP equipments were recovered from a house No.6 under road no.6 of the society, sources said. The detained are Md. Forkan, Abdul Hachin and Redwan Hossain. RAB Assistant Director Shaheda Sultana told that acting on secret information RAB forced conducted raid in the house and recovered huge equipments worth about Tk.48 lakh. The recovered VOIP equipments include 3 Dinstar Gateway(16 parts), GSM gateway 4, gateway motherboard -1, GSM entena 84, Modem 4, CPU 3, monitor 3, laptob 1, mobile set 2, printer one, keyboard 3, pendrive 1, Mlouse 1, len switch 2, power cable 9, charger 7, VJA cable 3f, simcard 871, calling card 1978. A case in connection was filed before the concerned thana , sources said.
