BSS, Jamalpur :
Police arrested three persons along with two firearms and ammunition from their possessions in Jamalpur sadar upazila on Monday t night.
The arrested persons were identified as Md Ibrahim Khan, 21, son of late Abdul Kader at Kendua Kalibari village, Md Murad Hasan, 20, son of Amol Miah at Hasil Battola village and Koniz Ahmed,23, son of Hamid Miah at Defulibari village in Jamalpur sadar upazila of the district.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of police on Jamalpur-Vatara-Sarishabri road challenged three youths for their suspicious movement at Jhauram area at around 10.30 pm and arrested them.
Police also recovered one revolver and eight rounds of bullets from Md Ibrahim Khan and one revolver from Md Murad Hasan.
A case was filed with Jamalpur police station in this connection.
