Police on Saturday arrested three people, including a Jubo Dal leader, in connection with the recent disappearance of BNP leader Mujibur Rahman Mujib and his driver from Sunamganj town.The arrestees are: Ali Akbar Chowdhury, 30, member of the Sunamganj district Jubo Dal convening committee, Zihadul Haque Zihad, 28, son of Azizul Haque of the area, and Tarekuzzaman Tarek, 27, son of Abdul Matin.Police said, Mujibur had long been at loggerheads with the father-in-law of Ali Akbar over a piece of land.Recently, Mujibur constructed a three-storey building on that disputed land.Police also said the arrest was made after a complaint was lodged by the family members of missing Mujibur.Since May 4, the BNP’s UK chapter vice president Mujibur Rahman Mujib and his driver remained missing. They went missing on their way to Sylhet from Sunamganj.
