A court here on Tuesday sentenced three people to life term imprisonment for killing one Humayun Kabir Titu in Kadamtali area of Demra over enmity in 2010.
Dhaka Speedy Trial Tribunal- 4 Judge, Abdur Rahman, passed the order in the morning. All three lifers – Md Sohag alias Bara Sohag, Md Mamun Sheikh and Rabin Sheikh are on the run. The court also fined each of the convicts Tk 20,000 in default of which they would have to serve one year more in jail. The court acquitted three other accused in the case. According to the case statement, Titu was shot dead on November 26 in 2010 while he was returning to his home.
