A court here on Tuesday convicted three persons to life term imprisonment for killing a motor cycle renter in Harirampur upazila of the district in 2014.
District and Session Judge M Mizanur Rahman Khan pronounced the verdict.
The court also fined the convicts-Abdur Razzak, Samir and Mofazzel-Taka 20,000 each, in default, to suffer three years’ more rigorous imprisonment.
The prosecution story, in brief, is that on March16, 2014 Samir hired Abdul Halim’s motorbike for going to Jhitka. After then Halim, 32, son of Ibrahim Khan of Durlobdhi village of the upazila, was missing with his bike.
