Three Clearing and Forwarding (C&F) employees received severe burn injuries in a fire incident in Agrabad commercial area of the city on Monday morning.
The victims were identified as Masud Alam, 45, Anwarul Kabir, 21 and Sanwar Hossain, 18. All the injured people are the employee of Tania Associate, a C&F house at Agrabad Commercial area.
Of the injured, the condition of Masud Alam, is stated to be critical, Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) police outpost sources said. Agrabad Fire Service control room sources said the fire, originating from an electric short circuit, broke out at the C&F house of Tania Associate around 9.05 am, and soon engulfed the adjoining office buildings.
