Three people, including a woman, have died of electrocution in separate mishaps in Dhaka. Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) Police Outpost’s Sub-Inspector Sentu Chandra Das said doctors declared them brought dead on Friday.
Uzzal Hossain, 25, Roksana Akhter, 28, and Md Saikat, 24, died at Paltan, Khilgaon and Kamrangirchar respectively. Hossain worked at a motor parts shop while Saikat was a tiles mechanic. Quoting Hossain’s co-workers, SI Das said he was electrocuted while working at the shop. He was brought to the hospital at around noon, he said. Saikat was
