UNB, Dhaka: Three students of Eden Mohila College suffered burn injuries as pickets set fire to a bus in the city’s Khejurbagan area on the eastern side of Sangshad Bhaban complex on Sunday. The victims were identified as Sathi Akhter, 19, Juthi Akhter, 19, and Maimuna Begu, 18, all the 1st year honours students of the College. Sources at Dhaka Medical College Hospital said miscreants set fire to the bus of ‘Bikalpa Paribahan’ by hurling a petrol bomb near the Sangshad Bhaban complex around 1:45 pm, leaving the three passengers of the bus injured. The injured were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. On information, a firefighting unit rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire.
