Police arrested three drug peddlers from Baklia thana of Chittagong port city conducting overnight drives on Wednesday.
The arrestees were identified as Abdul Qader (24), Mohammad Ali (25) and Mohammad Nurul Alam (40).
Baklia Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Mohammad Mohsin told that on a secret tip-off they conducted a drive in Ishaker Pool area of the upazila and arrested three drug peddlers.
Law enforcers also seized 1,040 pieces of yaba tablets from the possessions of the arrestees, he added.Cases under narcotics act have been filed against them, the OC said.
