A 3-day photo exhibition organized by Photo Philic, the photography club of Department of Pharmacy, University of Asia Pacific (UAP) began Monday on the department premises.
UAP Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Jamilur Reza Choudhury inaugurated the exhibition as chief guest and Prof MR Kabir, Pro VC attended the program as special guest.
Photography can play a strong role in bringing world peace and resisting violence in the country and around the world, said UAP VC while addressing the program.
Current and former students and faculties of UAP departments took part in the exhibition. Around 56 photos are being shown following a strong contest among hundreds pictures.
All participants had the opportunity to submit their photographs in eight categories like landscape, portrait, architecture, lifestyle, action, street, events, photo story and others.
