BIMOX, an innovative exhibition is going to be held in the heart of maritime industry at GEC Convention Centre in the port city from 6-8 September.
This 3 days event is arranged by Savor International Limited along with an international collaboration of Fireworks Media Group.
Bangladesh International Marine and Offshore Expo 2018 (BIMOX) is an international maritime and offshore industrial event that brings an international congregation of companies together in the heart of the maritime industry in Chittagong, according to sources.
Bangladesh is known mostly as a ship breaking nation however, in recent years it has also emerged as a shipbuilding country. The shipbuilding industry in Bangladesh has experienced substantial growth over the past couple of years. The industry is gradually improving with time. With the good performance of the industry, the government plays a more vital role and help the industry to boost further.
The government takes and implement preventive policies, incentives and support the local shipbuilders. Bangladesh, currently rising through the ranks as a major shipbuilding nation is a market as well. Marine and offshore exhibition is a great footstep by SAVOR International Ltd. making this booming market more competitive all over the world.
It is designed to be Bangladesh’s most comprehensive international business platform encompassing all aspects of ship building, ship repairs, shipping, maritime engineering, offshore engineering and technology, shipbreaking equipment, dredging equipment and ports and logistics handling equipment.
In this exhibition world famous Marine Industry players such as Palmarine, Schaller Automation, Masson, Priboy Shipping Supplies ltd and many other companies will join from 14 different countries to showcase their products. There will be 160 booths and 4000+ SQM space to demonstrate their products for example Deck machineries, Steering gears, Shafting, Thrusters, Gearbox, Rolling machine, Caterpillar Marine Propulsion Engines etc.
This exhibition is not only about maritime and offshore products but also Bangladesh Maritime Training Institute, ship Design and marine consultant firms such as Metacentre Ltd will showcase their Design printed catalog Ship models.
Ship Manning Association, Marine Fisheries Association, Chittagong Port Authority , Bangladesh China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCCI), and Taiwan Exhibition and Convention Association (TECA) are the associate partners to make the event more remarkable.
