A three-day international show on food processing will be held in the city in November this year aimed at connecting the local market with the international arena and modern technologies and products.
“The expo will take place at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) from November 23 to 25,” Bangladesh Agro-Processors’ Association (BAPA) President AFM Fakhrul Islam Munshi said at a press conference at Dhaka Club in the city.
BAPA and Extreme Exhibition and Event Solution Limited (E3 Solutions) will jointly organise the “5th BAPA FoodPro International Expo 2017”, he added.
BAPA president said the expo will display food products, food processing and packaging products and machineries.
“It will attract all stakeholders from the retail and wholesale food and beverage service sectors, generating new connections and new businesses for all involved,” he added.
He said exhibitors from15 countries are being expected to take part in the show.
The expo will remain open from 10am to 7pm, he added.
