The 22nd National Conference of Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh (IDEB) will be held on September 15-17 in the capital.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to inaugurate the conference at her official residence Gonobhaban at 10 am on September 15. She will also inaugurate Bangabandhu sculpture and IDEB’s building extension work, a press release said.
About 6,000 people, including teachers, students and engineers, will participate in the three-day meet.
Road Transport and Bridges Minister and Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader will inaugurate the 41st Council Convention and Engineering Innovation Expo-2018 at IDEB Building, Kakrail, on September 16.
