3 cops to go KSA to bring back Rajon’s killer

A three-member police team is due to visit Saudi Arabia soon to bring back Kamrul Islam, the prime accused in child Rajon murder case.
The possible date of the visit has not fixed yet. Additional Deputy Commissioner (media) of Sylhet Metropolitan Police
Rahmatullah confirmed the matter to media yesterday. The three-member team, led by Additional Police Superintendent Mahbubul Karim of the police headquarters, is expected to bring Kamrul back with assistance from the Interpol.
The other member of the team is Assistant Police Superintendent AFM Nizam Uddin and ADC (media) of Sylhet Metropolitan Police Rahmatullah. The 13-year-old boy, Rajan, was brutally beaten to death on July 8 in Sylhet and the brutal beating was videographed on a mobile phone after a group of men accused the child of stealing a rickshaw. Later, Kamrul Islam, the prime accused of the murder case, has been detained from Jamea area of Jeddah at around 8.00 pm (Bangladesh Time) on July 13.
