The inaugural ceremony of a four-day-long series of exhibitions of textile products and technologies kicked offon Wednesday at Bashundhara International Convention Centre (BICC) in the capital CEMS-Global USA in association with ‘CEMS Bangladesh’ organised the exhibition.
Industries minister Amir Hossain Amu was present in the inaugural ceremony as the chief Guest.
The four-day series of TexTech exhibitions are: ’17th TexTech Bangladesh International Expo 2016′, ’25th Dye+Chem Bangladesh Expo 2016′ and ’10th Dhaka International Yarn and Fabric Expo’.
This year, nearly 1050 companies with 1250 booths from over 23 countries along with important associations in the industrial sector are participating in the three concurrent exhibitions.
State Minister for Textiles and Jute Mirza Azam, Deputy High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh Dr. Adarsh Swaika, First Vice-president of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI) Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin, President of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) Siddque Rahman, 1st Vice-president of Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers And Exporters Association (BKMEA) A.H. Aslam Sunny attended the program as special guests.
CEMS-Global has been organizing the TexTech series of Exhibitions for 17 years in Bangladesh.
The Exhibitions will remain open for trade and business persons from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm upon registration at the expo venue from September 3.
