Three including a HSC examinee committed to suicide in different districts under Sylhet Division.
In Sylhet, a housewife allegedly committed suicide by hanging with tree at Moglagaon village in sadar Upazila of Sylhet district at around 6am on Tuesday .
The deceased was identified as Monwara Begum, 38, wife of Manfar Ali, a resident of the village. Local people said Rokeya, mother of seven children, took hanging with a tree near her room Tuesday. On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical college morgue for autopsy.
The reason behind the suicide could not be known yet.
Officer-in-charge of Jalalabad Police Station Akther Hosain confirmed the death. In Moulvibazar, a youth allegedly committed suicide by hanging at Kurbanpur village in Kulaura Upazila of Moulvibazar district on Monday evening over failed in HSC exam.
