An accident on the Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar highway has killed three college students.
The crash between a motorbike and a bus was reported from Cox’s Bazar’s Ramu Upazila, said police
One suffered injuries in the crash reported from Rashidnagar in Ramu Upazila of Cox’s Bazar, police said.
The victims have been identified as Shafiqul Islam, 20, Md Hasan, 22, and Mahiuddin, 22, said Ramu police OC M Liakat Ali. He said they were students of the Cox’s Bazar Government College.
“A bus hit their motorcycle around 11:30am, killing Shafiqul and Hasan on the spot,” said the police officer.
Mahiuddin was rushed to the state-run hospital in Cox’s Bazar town, where he succumbed to his injuries, he added.
