Three children were injured after one of the improvised bombs they had been playing with exploded in Fatullah’s Rasulpur on Wednesday morning.
The victims are Asif, 5, Arif, 3, and their neighbour Akhi, 12.
Abdul Mannan, owner of the house where the victims live, said the children found four improvised bombs that resembled tennis balls in a dustbin near their house.
“They (children) were playing with the bombs and suddenly one of them exploded. The children have been seriously injured,” he said.
Akhi was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital while the others had been taken to a local hospital.
Police said they had recovered the other three cocktails.
