Three guards of Chandpur district jail have been suspended over fleeing away of a prisoner jumping over the jail’s boundary wall.
Md Masud Hossain, additional deputy magistrate of the district, said that Mokhlesur Rahman, 40, son of Abdur Rahman, hailing from Matlab Uttar of the district fled away from the prison jumping

Md Masud Hossain, additional deputy magistrate of the district, said that Mokhlesur Rahman, 40, son of Abdur Rahman, hailing from Matlab Uttar of the district fled away from the prison jumping
over the jail’s wall which came in light on September 28.
Later, a three-member probe committee led by DIG Prison of Dhaka Division Towhidul Islam was formed to investigate into the incident which found the three on-duty prison guards’ negligence of duty behind the incident.
The jail authorities suspended the jail guards following the primary investigation of the probe committee.
