Three cases were filed against at least 35 persons including Officer-in-charge (OC) Maruf Ahmed, OC (Investigation) SM Jabid Hasan and four other Sub-inspectors of Paikgachha police station of Khulna district accusing in different allegations including realisation of tolls by misusing powers and grabbing ghers (Fish enclosures).
The numbers of the cases are -244/17, 268/17 and 271/17 which were filed in Khulna district joint Judge’s court and the learned court took in cognizance and directed to submit report after investigation.
