Three members of a family sustained burn injuries as fire originated from gas pipeline leak in the city’s Kolabagan area on Saturday night.
The injured are Md Arman Choudhury, 40, a private bank official, his wife Afroza Begum, 35, teacher of Dhaka College and their son Triman, 6. They were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital’s Burn Unit.
Duty officer of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police camp said that they received burn injuries as gas pipeline leaked and fire originated on the sixth floor of a multi-storied building.
