In separate incidents, the bodies of three people were recovered in Gazipur and Faridpur districts on Thursday. In Gazipur, police recovered the bodies of two people in Kaliakoir and Kapasia upazilas.
The body of garment worker Ronzina Khatun, 24, wife of Jahid Hasan, was recovered from her rented room at Master
Colony at Purbo Chandorapasha in Kaliakoir at noon.
Police said Ronzina’s family members found her mobile phone switched off since Tuesday and rushed to her house on Thursday morning. They found the house locked from outside and entered it breaking open the door with the help of locals only to see Ronzina lying dead on her bed with a scarf wrapped around her neck.
