Three Bangladeshi students have been killed in a road accident in Manitoba, Canada. The accident took place at the Interlock Community area at 6:30 am on Thursday. The deceased were identified as Al Noman Aditya, Rasul Badhan and Aranya Asad Chowdhury. All of them were studying at the University of Manitoba. Citing the Islamic Association, CBC News reported that the three were returning from the Hecla area, about 115 kilometers north of Winnipeg. When they reached the Interlock Community area, two vehicles collided. Immediately the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) rescued them and took them to the hospital, where doctors declared them dead. A part of the highway was shut down for several hours during the RCMP investigation, the media reported. Tasneem Vali, the vice-chairman of the Islamic Association, said the incident had cast a shadow of deep mourning among expatriates in Canada.
