Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested three members of an organized gang of making counterfeit currencies along with fake Taka and equipment of producing those from Hazaribagh in the old city. Being informed, RAB-2 personnel arrested Suman, 25 Kamola, 20 and Md Mamun, 24 after raiding a flat at Paschim Hazaribagh, its adjoining Jhauchar Care Hospital and a kitchen market since 7pm on Sunday to 2.30am on Monday, said additional police super Raihan Uddin Khan. They recovered fake Taka 1.59 lakh and equipment of making those including scanner machine, printer, special ink, different kinds of dices and chemicals from their possession, he said. A case was lodged in this regard.
