Police rescued three boys three hours into their abduction at Jawabazar in Chhatak upazila on Wednesday night.
Family sources said some unidentified miscreants picked up three boys
Emon, 13, son of Ubayer Miah of Wagekhali, Akash, 12, son of Kadnas Miah and Rana, 13, son of Ershad Ali of of Natun Court Point by giving them sedatives at Electricity Supply intersection in the town around 6pm.
Being tipped off, police launched a drive at Jawabazar and rescued the three boys, said officer-in-charge of Sunamganj Sadar Police Station Harun-or-Rashid.
