Customs officials seized 32 gold bars weighing 3.7 kg from a toilet at Shahjalal International Airport here on Saturday. Tipped-off, a preventive team of customs officials launched a drive around 2pm and recovered the gold bars from a toilet of the airport in an abandon condition, said assistant commissioner (customs) of the airport Rejaul Karim. The market value of the seized gold was Tk 1.77 crore, he said.
