The 2nd round of the 35th National Cricket Championship begins today (Wednesday) simultaneously at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna and Pabna District Stadium.
Two matches will be held on the opening day with Rangpur DSA taking on Narayanganj DSA at the Pabna District Stadium and Rajshahi DSA facing Chittagong DSA at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna.
Eight qualified teams, split into two groups, will compete in the 2nd round on league basis matches on June 24-30.
Participating teams are: Group A- Rangpur, Barisal, Jessore and Narayanganj DSAs, Group B- Rajshahi, Dhaka, Sylhet and Chittagong DSAs.
The group A matches will be held at Pabna District Stadium while the Group B matches are scheduled to be played at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna.
Later, two group champions will play in the final on July 2.
