Staff Reporter :The second phase of Poura polls will be held on March 20. The Election Commission (EC) fixed the date on Wednesday. An EC circular on Wednesday said voting would be held in 10 municipalities on that day.The deadline for submitting nominations is February 22, which the election officials will scrutinise the papers on February 24 and 25.The last day for withdrawal of nomination is March 4.Rangpur’s Haragach, Brahmanbaria, Jhalakathi, Noakhali’s Kabirhat, Comilla’s Nangalkot, Faridpur’s Bhanga, Cox’s Bazar’s Chakoria and Maheshkhali, Jhenaidah’s Kaliganj and Feni’s Sonagazi will go to polls on March 20.On December 30, polls were held in 234 municipalities across the Bangladesh. For the first time, the party-backed nominees contested.
