Hamdard University Bangladesh Debating Society (HUBDS) organized their 1st Debate Workshop on May 30 on the Hamdard University Bangladesh (HUB) premises. The workshop started followed by an opening ceremony. Rafiqul Islam, Vice-Chancellor (Acting) graced the event as the chief guest. The opening ceremony was conducted by Farooq Hossain, President, Hamdard Biswasbidyalay Sonskriti-Chorcha Kendro (HBBSCK), and Nujhat Nuari Islam, Chief Coordinator, HUBDS. Mahmuda Akter, Coordinator, HUBDS, coordinated the club activities. The Vice-Chancellor (Acting) inaugurated the 2nd HUB Debate Mash Up 2015 by saying that Hamdard University Bangladesh will always encourage the extra-curricular activities. Students need to involve in various social activities alongside their study.
After the opening ceremony, Nazia Sardar, Md. Saif Uddin, General Secretary; Abdullah Md. Shukrana, and Mahfuz Mishu trained the new debaters of HUB in four different sessions. They trained the new 77 debaters about Bengali Parliamentary Debate, traditional debate, and other formats of debates.
