The second dose of Covid-19 vaccine has been started to give at Kapasia in Gazipur. The activities started on Thursday morning at the Upazila Health Complex with the President of the Upazila Awami League, former MP Bir Muktijoddha Muhammad Shahidullah receiving the second dose of vaccine.
Besides, General Secretary of Upazila Awami League Md. Mizanur Rahman Pradhan and other people from different walks of life received the vaccine.
Regarding vaccination, Dr. Abdus Salam Sarkar, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer, said that after the first dose of vaccine was given in Kapasia Upazila, the second dose of corona vaccine was started. Only those who received the vaccine 28 days ago will be vaccinated daily from 8 am to 2 pm. Two skilled health workers and four volunteers have been appointed in 3 booths of the Upazila Health Complex for vaccination.
