Gopibagh Friends Association posted an overwhelming six-wicket victory against Dhanmondi Cricket Academy in a match of the Dhaka Second Division Cricket League held on Sunday at the BKSP ground-2 in Savar.
Batting first after winning the toss, Dhanmondi Cricket Academy were cheaply dismissed at 25.3 overs.
In reply, Gopibagh Friends Social easily reached home in 15.5 overs with six wickets in hand.
Result of the day’s other matches, North Bengal Cricket Academy (104/4) recorded a six-wicket win over Green Leaf Cricket Academy 156/10) at the City Club ground, Rayer Bazar Athletics Club (221/7) defeated Gulshan Youth Club (218/9) by three wickets at the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium and Fear Fighters Sporting Club (181/8)) beat Udity Club 174/7) by seven runs at the BKSP ground 4.
