The second death anniversary of the disabled persons friendly social personality of Swizerland Dr. Prafullah Rao Satpati was observed at the auditorium of Social Services Department (SSD) , Chittagong on November 8 last as arranged by Bright Bangladesh Forum , Chittagong.
President of Bright Bangladesh Forum Mr. Utpal Barua presided over it. Additional Director of SSD Ms. Bandana Das graced the occasion as chief guest while the Deputy Director Md.Omar Faruk,CCC councilor Morshed Alam, women councilor Jesmin Parvin, Asstt. Director of PHT Shahi Newaz and journalist M Shamsul Islam attended it as special guests.
Programme Manager of BBF Sohailudoza conducted the programme. Finance secretary of BBF Parag Sengupta, Editor of Nakonta Newspaper Shahriar Farzana and the founder member of BBF Nasrin Sultana delivered address of welcome .
The speakers in the remembrance meet stressed the role of families, society, public representatives, government officials, NGOs to make the physically crippled persons into self reliant in society. It is essential for the disabled persons to be awarded of their rights in the society, speakers added.
