A five-day international exhibition of branded clothing and fashion products will begin on June 25 at Emmanuell’s Banquet Hall at Gulshan-1 in the city.
Over 50 companies from home and abroad are participating in this exhibition titled ‘Bangladesh Fashion Carnival-2014’, second of its kind.
Freelancerz & Redcarpet Ltd, an event management firm, is organizing the event with the theme “Do Your Eid Shopping with Us”.
“We’re expecting a good number of visitors from entire South and South East Asia in the fashion carnival,” A Imtiaz, Manager (Business Development) of the organizer, told BSS today (Friday).
Imtiaz said the exhibition is targeted to huge Eid-Ul-Fitr shopping
Referring to the salient features of the carnival, he said it would create an opportunity for both local and foreign participants to display their latest development and quality of products before potential buyers, resulting in business transactions worth millions.
He said this exhibition will also encourage local manufacturers and producers to export their goods in foreign markets, giving a big boost to the country’s export earning.
An array of quality products will be put on display in the fashion carnival, he added.
The products include children’s wear, clothing (men/women), fashion wear, home textile, knitwear, Kurtas, Lawns, premium clothing, Readymade Garment (RMG)/woven garments, Salwar kameez, 3 pieces, Shawals, Sherwanis, wedding dress, beauty aids, beauty products and equipment, fashion house, gift and novelty items, leather and leather products and other services.
