The 29 Annual General Meeting of Federal Insurance Co. Limited was held on Monday at Muktijuddho Smrity Milonayaton, IDEB in Dhaka, says a press release Enamul Hoq, Chairman of the company presided over the meeting. Vice Chairman Elias Siddiquee, Executive Committee Chairman Sabirul Hoque, Claims Committee Chairman Md. Abdul Khaleque, Audit Committee Chairman Md. Didarul Anwar, Directors Jainul Abedin Jamal, Mamtaz Begum, Morshedul Shafi, Towfiqul Islam Chowdhury, Towhidul Alam, Independent Director Jamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury, Mohammad Anisul Hoque, Rasheda Begum, Rokan Uddin Chowdhury and Acting Chief Executive Officer Md. Sadaruddin, Senior executives of the company were present in the meeting.
Annual Accounts for 2016 of the company were approved and 5pc Stock Dividend (Bonus Share) was also approved. The Shareholders appreciated the performance of the Company despite hard competition and urged to increase dividend in future.
SM Pervez Alam, Hasina Begum and Tanveer Nawaz were elected Directors from Public Shareholders. The meeting was conducted by Sheikh Mohammad Anwar Uddin, SVP & Company Secretary.
