29 police get award from DIG

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, Dhaka Range Habibur Rahman has given award to 29 police personnel for their impressive performances in handling crimes and maintaining law and order. “Police should remain ever vigilant for curbing militancy, terrorism, drugs and other crimes to keep the law and order normal,” he said this while presiding over a monthly crime, law and order assessment conference in December at his conference room in the city.
He directed the police force to work with utmost sincerity and professionalism for ensuring peace and stability in the society. Additional DIG (Administration and Finance) Md Asaduzzaman conducted the monthly crime conference, while Additional DIG (Operation and Intelligence) and 13 Superintendents of Police of Dhaka Range were present in the meeting. Besides, Dhaka Range DIG also delivered the welcome speech and gave some instructions to all members of police under his jurisdiction. DIG Habibur Rahman handed over medals to 26 police officers and three Choukiders (watchman) for their outstanding performances in handling crimes. Superintendent of Police (SP), Manikganj Rifat Rahman Shamim received a crest as the best range police super award from the DIG for the month of December and Additional SP of Rajbari Sadar Circle Sheikh Sharif-Uzzaman was awarded as the best circle officer of the range for his excellent performance.
DIG Habibibur Rahman also gave a set of guidelines on various issues after discussing various cases in the conference.
