The 7 day-long 28th Book Fair and Cultural Festival inaugurated by Md Baki Billah, Chairman of Bhangura Upazila Parishadat Government Bhangura Union School and College ground under Pabna district on Sunday night (21 March). Like other years, the fair has been organized by Bhangura Sachetan Literary Cultural Committee.
Among others, Golam Hasnain Rashel, Mayor of Bhangura Municipality, Muhammad Anwar Hossain Officer-in-Charge of Bhangura Thana, Principal Md Shahiduzzaman, Principal MdRabiul Islam, Upazila Vice Chairman Golam Hafiz Ranju and Asida Parvin Pakhi, District Council Member MdAslam Ali and Gulshahanara Parvin Lipi, Upazila Chhatra League President Imran Hassan Arif and Sachetan’s General Secretary Rakibul Islam Babul present in the occasion. Md Abdul Khaleque,President of Sachetan Literary Committee presided over the ceremony. The program was conducted by Taslim Hossain Sarkar, Co-Literary and Cultural Secretary of Sachetan.
On this occasion, the Government Bhangura Union School and College ground has been decorated with colorful decorations. There are also book stalls including food, garments, handicrafts and various stalls have been set up at the fair. School magazines and music are regularly organized on the festival ground at night. The fair will continue till 27 March 2021.
