Houses were distributed among 28 families of Shibalaya Upazila, landless and homeless in the 3rd phase on Thursday under the Prime Minister’s priority based project. Already 70 houses have been distributed. The remaining 50 houses are under construction. Among others, Shibalaya Upazila Vice Chairman Runa Akhter, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Anisur Rahman Khan, A-L leader MA Quddus, journalist Babul Akhtar Manjur and others spoke on the occations.
Shivalay upazila executive officer Zahidur Rahman said that 144 houses will be distributed in different places of Mahadevpur, Ulail, Utholi, Teota Union of the upazila. Land deeds and other documents are given to those who get listed houses. Among others, all the beneficiaries were present when the Prime Minister virtually inaugurated this program like the rest of the country.
Baul Saidul, who received a house in the Teota Asharyan project, said that by getting land, house and other things as a gift from the Prime Minister, many needs of his life were fulfilled.
All the beneficiaries are very happy to get the houses. They all wished Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina good health and long life.
