UNB, Patuakhali :At least 28 buffalos died when a thunderbolt struck them at Char Karfarma in Galachipa upazila on Saturday.Abdur Rahman, owner of the buffalos at Panpatti village, said a thunderbolt struck his buffalos while they were crossing river around 6am, leaving all theanimals dead on the spot. However, the cowboy was injured in the incident. He was rushed to Patuakhali hospital.Shishir Mandal, officer-in-charge of Galachipa Police Station, said he heard about the incident.
