Water levels in 27 river stations monitored by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rise and 52 stations recorded fall.
Among the 83 monitored water level stations, water levels at eight river stations are flowing above respective danger levels and water levels at three monitored river stations have remained steady, a bulletin issued by FFWC said on Sunday.
The Karotoa at Chakrahimpur, the Gur at Singra, the Lakhya at Lakhpur, the Jamuna at Naogaon, the Surma at Kanaighat, the Surma at Sunamganj, the Old Surma at Derai and the Kansha at Jariajanjail are flowing above their respective dangers levels by 17 cm, 71 cm, 5 cm, 12 cm, 5 cm, 25 cm, 14 cm, and 133 cm.
The Jamuna and the Ganges-Padma are in falling trend while the Brahmaputra and the Upper Meghna are in rising trend.
